This privacy statement discloses the privacy policies for ZoneEdit.Com.

1. ZoneEdit, Inc. (ZoneEdit) is the sole owner of all information collected on ZoneEdit.com.

2. In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration, a user is required to give their contact information (name, email address, phone number and address).

3. Information collected on this site is used to manage DNS records, to notify the user of maintenance, billing, legal, service offerings, changes and other issues pertinent and necessary to the maintenance of the users' domain name(s) and DNS services.

   We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

4. ZoneEdit will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

   During the course of maintaining DNS, the user's email address is indirectly shared with registrars and gateway providers who deliver your email. This is an unavoidable consequence of using the Internet.

   We use a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

   We may disclose personal information when in response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

5. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are also tracked to prevent credit card fraud.

6. ZoneEdit takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

   When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is optionally encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL.

   We also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices, and kept in a secure environment.

7. If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user’s personal data provided to us.

   This can usually be done at the Account Info and User Options pages.
