How credits work
================

Credits are prepaid service-months. One Managed DNS zone uses one credit each month while it is active. Optional services such as Failover, Backup MX, Tertiary DNS, and HTTPS forwarding each use an additional credit per month.

Buy a balance that fits your setup; the system draws from it automatically as your active services renew. Credits never expire — your balance lasts until your services consume it.

One balance, pooled across your account
---------------------------------------

A 60-credit balance can cover any mix of active services. Credits are pooled, not tied to a single domain.

Failover × 112

Backup MX × 112
